Good Evening Bear Family -
We have had a great week this past week. Great Job families on the CandyMan Fundraiser! We hope that everyone was safe this past weekend with the storm. You should have received Progress Reports this past week. Please make sure that you have seen your child’s progress reports. We will begin our Hearing and Vision Screenings for students in grades Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th. All students in grades Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th will have vision and or hearing screening conducted at school October 1-4. If you do not want your child to participate in the screening, please send in a signed and dated note stating your preference for your student not to participate. The note should be sent to the attention of the school nurse.
Our Fall Festival has changed until this Friday, October 4 from 6 - 8 pm. This event is a great evening for the whole family. You can purchase wristbands early for $15 through PTA. At the gate, it will be $20 for a wristband. There will also be food trucks on site.
Lastly, please remember that attendance counts. We have a lot of students checking out every day. Your students are missing valuable learning time. The car line is usually finished everyday in about 15 minutes. Please consider joining the car line, instead of checking out your students. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

The more participation we have the more entries we receive to hopefully win a Book Vending Machine! So far we have 1 entry. For the book vending machine we receive 1 entry when our student participation reaches 40% and an additional entry for each percentage point above 40%! Please help our participation grow so we have more chances to win!

Good afternoon!! The portion for turning in all cash and in person orders for our Candy Man fundraiser has ended. GOOD NEWS: the online portion is still open and will close on 9/26.
