Nighthawk Enrollment Day is hosted by Nash Community College on Oct 23 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Brown Auditorium (located in the Business & Industry Center -- Old Carriage Road entrance). This day is for prospective, newly applied, and returning students to get a full day of step-by-step assistance from NCC staff and faculty through registration. College Foundation of North Carolina documents, registration, and financial aid can be intimidating. This is the opportunity to drop in anytime with parents/guardians and their questions. The best part, and the goal, is that students can register for their Spring Semester courses before they leave. There will also be an opportunity to print their schedule, get a Student I.D. made, and pay their tuition if they are ready. The Lady Knights Tennis team was devoted, determined, & focused in their 1st playoff-round match against Harnett Central High School. The Lady Knights Tennis team CHARGED & MARCHED through the Trojans yesterday with a score of 5 to 1. Singles wins included Taylor McIntyre, Team Captain Shaniya Taylor, Joelle Drake, & Esther Edgerton, and A HUGE SHOUTOUT to our #1 seed Francesca Miller who delivered a Bagel Special in her fight against the Trojans. The Lady Knights will continue this run this upcoming Friday as they compete at Regionals in Burlington. The Lady Knights will also play their second round against Fike High School next Monday. Bid the Lady Knights a job well done as they continue to be Knight Strong.

Spirit Week Oct. 2nd - Oct. 6th
In addition to Spirit Week, we are battling with the Bulldogs across the bridge to see which school can donate the most canned goods, dry beans or Roman noodles. All items donated will be given to support the charity organization of My Sister House. Let’s show them we can beat them on and off the field.
Reminder: Spirit Week is an excellent time for laughter, fun, and celebration. Let’s be respectful of ourselves and others. No mask of any kind and remember the dress code policy.
