ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Nash County Public Schools (NCPS) prioritizes the safety of its students, staff, and community. The district is currently addressing social media posts circulating about Rocky Mount Middle School and other schools outside of our district.
NCPS is working closely with the Rocky Mount Police Department as they investigate these posts. Safety remains our top priority, and any students involved will face disciplinary action in accordance with the NCPS code of conduct. We urge all students to report concerns to a teacher, trusted adult or the Anonymous Say Something App.
We are committed to keeping our community informed as the investigation continues and thank the Rocky Mount Police Department for their swift response.
